This clinic is intended to serve clients of HRS, and the unhoused, and veterans in the Oak Park/Stockton Boulevard/Broadway area. Please respect our limited resources and capacity. We may request proof of status, and may decline service to those not meeting our criteria for participation.

Patients are seen on a first come, first served basis, with exceptions made at the discretion of the medical staff in accordance with patients’ needs. No pre-registration or appointments needed.

All services are free. The level of care we can provide depends upon available resources, and is subject to change without notice.

Our protocols for the handling of pets at our clinics are intended to keep pets, clients, and volunteers safe and anxiety free.  Compliance with our rules and with the special requests of our volunteer staff is required for participation in our clinics.

Cats must be brought in individual carriers.

Dogs must be on leashes 6 feet or shorter (no flexi-leads) or in crates.

Unvaccinated dogs, and puppies months and under must be kept off the ground in crates or held in arms.

SERVICES:

For dogs and cats, puppies and kittens 6 weeks and older.

Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP and rabies vaccines.

Flea, tick, heartworm, and earmite prevention, and deworming.

Collars.

Dog and cat food.

Veterinary exams and care for medical problems as resources allow..

NOTE: This clinic is held in the parking lot behind the VFW Post 67.
